Born in Granada, he obtained his Degree in Music (specialty in Singing) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (United Kingdom), where he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in music.
He won the first prize in the singing competition “Mirna Lacambra” at the Sabadell Opera in 2005, where he sang the leading role of Le nozze di Figaro. In 2006 he debuted Don Giovanni in the United Kingdom followed by Ford (Falstaff), Escamillo (Carmen) and Belcore (L’elisir d’amore). In 2009 he returned to Spain, and since then he has sung Zúñiga (Carmen), Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Germont (La Traviata), Julián (La Verbena de la Paloma), Joaquín (La del manojo de rosas), Rafael (La calesera) and Pedro Stakoff (Katiuska).
In 2016 he played the leading role in Jesús de Nazaret composed by Julián Santos and arranged, completed and conducted by Roque Baños. In the years 2017 and 2018 he sung, Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore), Escamillo (Carmen), Leonello (La canción del olvido), Composer (Palimpsesto, contemporary chamber opera by
Juan Manuel Ruiz and libretto by Diego Valverde Villena) and Carmina Burana. In 2019 sung Vidal (Luisa Fernanda), Putifar (La corte del faraón) and Dulcamara (L’elisir d’amore). In 2020 he sung Juan de Eguía (La tabernera del puerto) and Juan Pedro (La rosa del azafrán).
Next projects include “La Barcarola” Gran Teatre del Liceu, a new production for young audiences that will be released in 2021 and Principe Alberto (Molinos de viento) in the Tomás Barrera Theater, October 2020.
